About Us

Our Vision: A Dialogue Between East and West

EastWestCraftslab was born from a singular obsession: Architecture. We are dedicated to deconstructing grand architectural inspirations from both the East and the West into tactile, functional objects for your everyday life. More than just home decor, we are conducting a continuous experiment with geometry, history, and materiality.

The Process: Where Craft Meets Technology

We believe that the most compelling designs are born at the intersection of traditional craftsmanship and modern innovation.

The Hand-Cast Craft (Manual Artistry)

Our debut Spomenik-inspired Night Light is a tribute to the monumental sculptures of mid-20th century Yugoslavia. Those grand, futuristic silhouettes exude a silent power through the play of light and shadow. Each lamp begins with meticulous hand-sketches, followed by the creation of custom molds. I personally hand-cast every piece, a process that grants these "miniature monuments" a unique texture and a sense of weight that mass production simply cannot replicate.

The Digital Lab (3D Design & Printing)

Our collection of Brutalist Planters continues this bold, uncompromising aesthetic. By blending sharp geometric angles with raw textures, we create a striking contrast between organic greenery and structured "concrete" forms. Each planter is digitally sculpted through 3D modeling and brought to life via 3D printing, allowing us to push the boundaries of traditional forms and achieve intricate, razor-sharp geometry. It is both a salute to Brutalist aesthetics and an exploration of the future of making.

Why EastWestCraftslab?

Currently, our shop features a curated collection of just four core pieces. We prioritize intention over volume.

  • Original Design: Every line and every angle originates from my personal sketches and vision.

  • Niche Aesthetic: Purpose-built for those who find beauty in architectural art, Brutalism, and minimalist strength.

  • Limited Production: As an independent studio, we eschew the assembly line. We focus on the uniqueness and soul of every individual piece.

"Small batches, big soul. Each piece is unique."

While our current journey focuses on the raw power of Brutalism, the story of EastWestCraftslab is just beginning. We are already exploring the structural aesthetics of traditional Eastern architecture. Stay tuned for the next intersection of Eastern and Western beauty at the Lab.
